First, most important stuff, I draw Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, like that. I'm really into the g-machine world right now which is where Illustrator comes in for me. Hot Rods are obviously custom and an Illustraton of the mods comes in handy during a build, so I draw "concept cars" ... anyway, I've been using Illustrator since '99-ish and been drawing forever of course. I don't really use blends, blurs, GMs or any filters with Illustrator, just the pen tool and radial or linear gradients.

actualy this art is made for on 4inch printing, in which there is no need of full detail as its seen in 4 inch job.
i had in work pressure here in office, when the work load less I definatly show you my skill.

ah ... so really at that print size it will appear to have more detail with the black lines without looking all cluttered up i think. i'll be keeping an eye out for more.
